Franklin Gothic Poster

The purpose of this assignment was to research a famous designer and create a biography in a magazine format. The cover image must be a personal design that fits within the style of the researched designer. I chose to do a self portrait of Ikko Tanaka, using only shapes to match his geometric style. The red color was to represent his home country, where he is crowned “The Monarch of Japanese Designs”.
